How to Create an Effective Video Pitch
Whenever a founder asks for help with their pitch, I always recommend they watch the LAUNCH Accelerator Public Demo Day replay videos available on YouTube.
At LAUNCH Demo Day, each founder has 3-minutes to pitch their company before being cut-off, so it’s vital they convey the most critical information to investors within the 3-minute window.
These Founder Demo Days are the culmination of 12-weeks developing and honing their pitch in front of professional coaches and investors, so all you have to do is study their format & style, and you too can have an effective Demo Day pitch!
Included below are links to some recent LAUNCH Demo Days. Take a few hours to study and observe the format.
To help get you started, I’ve included below the general outline/format of the pitch. You may tweak things slightly based on your type of business, but overall, I recommend maintaining the format.
Ultimately, if you can record a similar 3-minute investor pitch using Loom or Zoom, you’ll have a very valuable video asset you can share with investors, while meaningfully differentiating yourself from the crowd.
